The base of the card is a standard 5 1/2'' by 8'' piece of Rose Red Cardstock folded in half. Pretty in Pink cardstock cut to 5'' by 3 3/4'' is on top. I used a rose from Simple Sketches stamped in Rose Red ink twice on Pretty in Pink card stock. I trimmed it to leave just enough room for my eyelets. I matted that with Rose Red card stock, and set my pink eyelets. I've learned that Stampin' Up eyelets are easy to set, and any other eyelets I've found really have to be hit hard! After attaching the rose piece, I added my greeting from All Year Cheer I, stamped in Rose Red ink.
Homemaking has been called a "hidden art" because it's not in the eye of the world, and it calls so many arts and talents into play. These are some of my "hidden arts."
