This card looks a little washed out in the picture. The card base is Barely Banana, and has the outline stamp of the rose from Simple Sketches all over in Versamark. The rose is stamped on the white Naturals paper. The first layer is Pretty in Pink ink, the second is Rose Red, and the last is Bravo Burgundy. I used a sponge to "age" the edges of the rose square with Rose Red ink. The square of card stock behind the rose is Rose Red. "Thinking of You" is stamped in Bravo Burgundy ink.
Variations on a Theme:
The leaf card is made like the first one. The leaves are stamped in Creamy Caramel ink on Creamy Caramel card stock. The leaf square is Vanilla card stock, and the layers are first, More Mustard ink, Really Rust, and Chocolate Chip. The square behind the leaf is Chocolate Chip card stock, and the barely visible greeting is stamped in Close to Cocoa ink.
The dragonfly card has a barely banana base, and with leaves from Wee Watercolors all over in Versamark. The dragonfly is from the All I Have Seen set, and is stamped in Ruby Red ink on Barely Banana card stock. It is matted on Ruby Red card stock, and the greeting, from All Year Cheer I, is stamped in Ruby Red ink.
Homemaking has been called a "hidden art" because it's not in the eye of the world, and it calls so many arts and talents into play. These are some of my "hidden arts."
