Desktop Challenge

This is my October desktop, which I submitted to the desktop challenge at The Digichick.

Laitha's Designs released this lovely Bohemian Fall collection, and I used pieces from the kit, the elegant photo masks, and the rustic alpha set.

Ilonka's Scrapbook Designs had two new releases just in time for DSD!  The first one, Classic Vintage, is a collab with Bee Creations.

My page also uses When September Ends templates by Southern Serenity.

Classic Vintage is available exclusively at DigiScrapbooking Boutique, and right now is offered free with purchase.
 Ilonka also created a lovely new collection called What Means the Most, which is available at DigiScrapbooking Boutique, CoolScrapDigital, Scrap from France, and GoDigitalScrapbooking.

For this page, I used another template set by Southern Serenity (can you tell I like her templates?!) called Weeping Willow.

Signature for forums

Many designers have made signature templates, for creating unique signature for forums.  Meagan's Creations recently released Siggy Templates Holiday Edition.

I used a very Christmas-y one to make my siggy, which looks nothing like Christmas.  Templates are so versatile!  The artwork is The Way You Are kit, swirls and alpha, by Laitha's Designs.  

Another quilt template

LJS Digital Designs has released another beautiful quilt template!  This one is called One Scrappy Chick Single 2.  I used the soft new Shades of Pink collection by Alexis Design Studio.  

New Introvert collection

Creative Victorian Designs just released the new Introvert collection, with shades of relaxing greens and earthy neutrals.  The template for my page was from Layered With Love Templates Set 7 by Seatrout Scraps.  

New Imagine Collection

For this layout, I used art from the lovely Imagine collection by Kimeric Kreations, and Playing with Journal Cards #01 by Akizo Designs.

Border challenge

This is the layout I did for this month's Border Challenge at The Digichick.

We were to use a border, premade or made by us, on a layout.  I used the lovely Present and Past collection by PrelestnayaP Designs, which includes a set of lovely borders.

For this page I used another beautiful collection by PrelestnayaP Designs, Time for Love. The template is called Ocean Shimmer, by Angelclaud Artroom.

Twin Love

Memory Clips recently released Autumn Stories Templates, and I when I saw them I thought of these photos.  With the babies' first birthday coming at the end of the month, I'd been looking at their newborn pictures and remembering that special time.

LDrag Designs has this sweet Bundle of Joy collection, which was perfect for the pictures.  She has separate add on kits for boy or girl, and the journal cards are cute, too.

Regal Viking collection

I have two pages today with a recent collection by Meagan's Creations, I Am A Viking.  Since I love that period of history, I was excited to play with the collection.

This first page uses one of the journal cards in addition to the kit, with a template from Emphasis on Papers Vol 12 by PrelestnayaP Designs.  I have really been enjoying these color blocking templates.

Meagan made some lovely page edge borders, and I used one on this page.  I thought the collection suited one of my favorites quotes, and really like the way the page turned out.  This layout is with a template from the new Spellbound set by Seatrout Scraps.  

Free template!

This is the layout I did for this month's template challenge at The Digichick.

I used the Color Me Happy! kit from Kimeric Kreations, as well as the darling layered graffiti.

No training wheels!

Stephen just learned to ride a two wheeled bike without training wheels, and I'm so proud of him!  He asked me to come watch and take pictures, and these are some of them.

For the page, I used That Girl templates by La Belle Vie Designs, and the new Just a Touch of Yellow collection recently released by LadyR Designs.

Unusual new templates

This page is made with yet another pretty kit by PrelestnayaP Designs, Beautiful Fall, and the new Love is Life templates by Ilonka's Scrapbook Designs.

I've never seen templates similar to these, and really like the effect.  If you like this one, you should check out the galleries at the stores; all the pages with these templates are really beautiful!  The templates are at Scrap from France, GoDigitalScrapbooking, CoolScrapDigital and DigiScrapbooking Boutique.

New autumn collection

Autumn is my favorite season, and I love autumn kits.  Alexis Design Studio just released a beautiful new collection, Rustic Fall.

The mask that I used in the background photo is from the set that is only available in the whole bundle.  The template is Nobody's Fool by Southern Serenity.

Beautiful Designs by PrelestnayaP

I have been loving working with art by PrelestnayaP Designs!  She makes such lovely kits, and I enjoy using her templates, too.  Here are some pages I've done recently.

This is with her newest collection, Autumn Afternoon.  The borders are so pretty, and so are the coordinating masks.  I also used one of her Memories in One Photo Vol 2 templates.

She has done a series of Photomasks templates, and this is Volume 5, with her Sea Vacation kit.

 Here is one more, using a gorgeous template by LJS Digital Designs, One Scrappy Chick Single 1.  The Mariner's Compass is such a beautiful pattern, and one day I hope to be brave enough to undertake the quilt pattern.  They say because it is so intricate, it is best pieced by hand, and I don't know if I can do that!  I used PrelestnayaP Designs' Pumpkin Harvest collection for this one.  The papers were so perfect, and I also used a couple of her pretty clusters.  

New Collection by Kimeric Kreations

Jonathan and Emma are now 11 months old, and Christianna took some amazing photos of them outside.  The new collection by Kimeric Kreations, Early Autumn Splendor, was perfect for these photos of my little guy.  My template was from Falling for You Vol. 2, by Meagan's Creations.

Abigail Anne

I love the papers in this lovely kit by Valentina's Creations, Pure Creativity.  They make the page look so soft and pretty, perfect for Abigail.

I thought the kit was beautiful before I used it, but even more so after seeing how the page turned out.  My template was from a new set, Gogglebox by Seatrout Scraps.

Month in Review Challenge

This is the page I did for this month's "Month in Review" challenge at The Digichick.

To participate, all you have to do is scrap a layout with photos from last month!
I used Fallen for You by LDrag Designs, a couple of mask frames from the Masks & Frames grab bag by PrelestnayaP Designs, the nifty Memory Keeper plastic pockets (everyone needs them!) by Memory Clips, and the blocked Life Happens templates also Memory Clips.

LadyR Designs!

I am so excited to be joining the CT for LadyR Designs!  My first page with her designs was with her part of the MSAD blog train collab.  There are 19 designers on the train, each with a small freebie, making a collab called Love Around the World.  I don't know how long all the designers will have their links up, but if you want some beautiful free art, follow the train!  I know the link by LadyR Designs is still up.

The template is from Fearless by Southern Serenity.

New Inky Border Overlays

Last week Charm Box Studios released a new set of overlays, Inky Border Overlays.  They are my new favorites for softening the edges of my pages!  They are also great just for photos, like this one:

I used the overlay as is on the photo, but on both the pages, I filled with paper and reduced the opacity somewhat.

This first page is with Heidi Nicole's beautiful recent kit, The Perfect Season.  I loved her word arts, too, and used one of them.  The template is from PrelestnayaP Design's Memories in One Photo Vol. 1.  

I love the way the soft papers in this page complement the photo of Abigail.  The kit is Never Stop Hope, by Valentina's Creations, and the sweet template is from Layered With Love Vol. 12 by Seatrout Scraps.

Time for Tea!
